How the christmas words fit each size
63 of the 64 christmas words fit the 11 × 11 easy grid. FRANKINCENSE is too long for it, so it only turns up on the 15 × 15 medium and 19 × 19 hard grids.
19 words have five letters or fewer, ELF, IVY and MAGI among them, and those are the first ones young solvers spot. The longest, FRANKINCENSE, DECORATIONS and GINGERBREAD, are the last to be found.
