How the easter words fit each size
50 of the 51 easter words fit the 11 × 11 easy grid. RESURRECTION is too long for it, so it only turns up on the 15 × 15 medium and 19 × 19 hard grids.
22 words have five letters or fewer, DYE, EGG and HOP among them, and those are the first ones young solvers spot. The longest, RESURRECTION, CRUCIFIXION and MARSHMALLOW, are the last to be found.
A way to use the easter word search
Pair it with the egg hunt: every child who finds an egg gets a sheet, and the first to circle every word chooses the next hiding spot.
