Free Printable Dinosaurs Word Search
For dinosaur-mad kids who can already pronounce the long names. STEGOSAURUS, TRICERATOPS, VELOCIRAPTOR and SPINOSAURUS share the list with the science of finding them: FOSSIL, EXCAVATE, PALEONTOLOGY. Answer key included, and New puzzle lays out a different grid from the same 61 words every time.

How the dinosaurs words fit each size
57 of the 61 dinosaurs words fit the 11 × 11 easy grid. ANKYLOSAURUS, BRONTOSAURUS, PALEONTOLOGY and VELOCIRAPTOR are too long for it, so they only turn up on the 15 × 15 medium and 19 × 19 hard grids.
19 words have five letters or fewer, DIG, EGG and JAW among them, and those are the first ones young solvers spot. The longest, ANKYLOSAURUS, BRONTOSAURUS and PALEONTOLOGY, are the last to be found.
A way to use the dinosaurs word search
Once the grid is done, have young paleontologists sort the circled words into two piles, dinosaur names and fossil-hunting words, then choose one dinosaur to draw from its SKELETON out.

Printing and the answer key
Print hides the controls; the PNG is rendered at 3× so letters stay crisp, and the answer key saves under its own filename. Need a whole book of these at KDP trim? KDP Creator builds the pages.
